Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior who is Jesus the Christ! As the pastor of Flat Rock A.M.E. Church, I am pleased to invite you to our church that is truly seeking first the kingdom of God through meaningful worship. We have a growing faith, based upon God works and good deeds.
As the “oldest African American Church” in Fayette County, Flat Rock has a legacy of being the birthplace and genesis of growth and spiritual development. We, the members of Flat Rock, truly believe that we are all called to a greater work in Christ Jesus.
We believe in a sound theology under-girded with effective teaching and preaching, we become more effective in the fundamental principles of excellence in praise, sincere in worship and faithful in our deeds.
We are a church that seeks to serve God through fellowship and a membership representative of all of God’s people regardless of race, or ethnicity. If you are looking for a place to learn and have a better relationship with God, we invite you to visit Flat Rock A.M.E. Church, a “Great rock in a weary land and a shelter in the times of the storms of life”. Stop by the little church on the side of the road.
