It was there that she accepted the call upon her life and entered the ministry and received ministerial ordination in 2001.
Rev. Bishop moved to Georgia in 2004, entered seminary, and began attending Flat Rock AME Church. She has received the Master of Divinity degree from Mercer University’s McAfee School of Theology and subsequent Elder ordination. Rev. Bishop is the Asst. Pastor to Rev. Edward Johnson. She feels blessed by her involvement in Ministry to Women, Hospital Chaplaincy and other community activities.
Rev. Bishop has five children and she is also a grandparent and great-grandparent. She has been involved in numerous community activities and organizations and hopes to continue to be involved in activities which encourage and empower women and children to experience the goodness of the Lord.
However, her greatest accomplishment is being a HUMBLE, SAVED CHILD OF GOD BY HIS GRACE, AND A VESSEL TOTALLY DEVOTED TO SERVING AS GOD WANTS TO USE HER.
